Grand Haven Schools Foundation is proud to collaborate with the following organizations to help ensure access to early childhood education:
Grand Haven Area Public Schools and the Grand Haven Area Preschool Development Program
The GHSF works closely with school district leaders and the director of the preschool program to create an awareness of the benefits of preschool and to provide access for all children. Applications for scholarships are made through the Grand Haven Area Public Schools, and the funding for scholarships is provided by GHSF.
Tri-Cities Area College Access Network (TCAN)
TCAN has identified age-level specific goals for creating a career and college-going culture in the community. The GHSF and TCAN share a common goal that 100% of Tri-Cities three- and four-year-olds have an opportunity to attend preschool and to be kindergarten ready.
Ottawa Area Intermediate School District – Success Council of Ottawa County
The GHSF has representation on this council which helps to educate parents and caregivers about the importance of preschool and how to access countywide resources.
Grand Haven Area Community Foundation
The Grand Haven Schools Foundation Endowment Fund is held at the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation. Our endowment provides a reliable source of income and ensures that programs for our most vulnerable children will be funded into the future. Building a strong endowment is an ongoing goal of the GHSF. To give to GHSF’s endowment, please visit www.ghacf.org/donate. Under the “Donation Information” heading, please select “Other” as the designation, and type “Grand Haven Schools Foundation” in the required field.
